Beat The Streets aims to be a force for positive change by using music to bring together the people of Nottingham. We aim to do this by raising funds to support homeless people in need. All proceeds from tickets, merch and bar takings from Rock City, Rescue Rooms, The Bodega and Stealth are donated to the charity Framework. Find out more about Framework and how they support homeless people in need here: frameworkha.org.
Beat The Streets 2021 will take place on Sunday 31st January 2021 across various venues in Nottingham city centre. Tickets for the event can be bought here.
Of course (provided they don't sell out in advance)! Wristbands will be available for purchase at Rock City or Rough Trade, although beware that these will be on a first come, first served basis.
Doors will open at 1pm and music will start shortly after, we'd recommend checking our set times when they are released a few weeks before the festival for futher info!
Full set times will be released across our social media and on our website a few weeks before the festival is due to take place. These will also be available to buy physically in our Beat The Streets lanyard over on the Rock City merch desk on the day.
Bag searches will take place during the day at all venues, so please leave yourself plenty of time to allow for this when entering as we’d hate for you to miss any of the brilliant bands on offer! Please note that you will not be permitted access to the event with a large rucksack or holdall. We would encourage people to leave bags at home, but if you need to bring one please make sure it is smaller than A4.
If you opted to have your wristband delivered by post, please expect it to arrive any time within 30 days prior to the event. If your ticket has not arrived by that time, please contact your ticket provider.
Wristband collections are at Rock City box office from 1pm.
All of our venues are 14+ until 11pm (and 18+ thereafter) with the exception of Rough Trade which is all ages until 9pm and 18+ after and The Bodega Bar and Rescue Rooms Bar, which are 18+ all day.
You can indeed! We’ll be holding a collection in the Black Cherry Lounge at Rock City. Please bring in any non-perishable items of food, toilet paper, washing up liquid or kitchen towels along with you on the day, these will all be donated to the local homeless charity Emmanuel House.
Taking place earlier this month to raise money for Framework, Splendour At Home has already managed to raise a whopping £500!
